All purchases are final sale because of the nature of the formal dress industry. We do not offer returns or exchanges. If a dress is damaged or ruined during shipping, we will do our best to resolve the issue. We cannot be held responsible for personal changes in events.
We are not a bridal store, but we do offer a one-stop-shop for just about every occasion. We do not sell traditional bridesmaids gowns, but we can accommodate any bridal party.
Do you need an appointment to shop at Omnibus?
You do not need an appointment to shop here. We work on a first come first serve basis. If you are shopping for a Mother of gown we always recommend coming right as we open top avoid waiting. We do offer private appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-7pm or 7pm-8pm for Mother of and Bridesmaids only. This is highly recommended for all Mother ofs . It allows you to shop in a more relaxed environment.
How long is the wait for a fitting room on the weekend?
Estimated wait time on weekends from January-April or Holidays could exceed up to 60 minutes. We have a 45 minute time limit in fitting rooms for Prom/Sweet 16 girls and 60 minute time limit on Mother of during weekends.
Do you need a parent or guardian to try on prom gowns?
Prom girls must be accompanied by their OWN parent or guardian to try on dresses on weekends or Holidays. No exceptions. This is a courtesy to young girls that can only come with a parent or guardian on the weekend.
Are your dresses samples?
Our dresses are not SAMPLES. Each garment is to be sold off the rack which is why only the staff is allowed to handle the garments. We kindly ask all customers who are waiting for a sales associate not handle or pick up any garments. This ensures all items in our shop stay in pristine conditions.
Do you special order?
Mostly all formal wear you see in our shop can be ordered. Special order deliveries could be anywhere from 2-20 weeks. Depending on the size, color and style every dress is different. If we cannot fulfill a special order you will be notified within 48 hours of purchase.
We cannot be held responsible for slight change in dye lot or fit. We ask that you come in within 30 days of special order arriving into the store to make sure the dress is correct and there are no mishaps.
Are alterations included in the price of the garment?
Alterations are not included in the price of any garment. Due to every garment fitting each body a little different we are unable to give any prices for alterations until your fitting appointment with the seamstress. We offer customized alterations to each customers needs and wants. You do not have to do your alterations here if you do not want to. Prom gowns must have a fitting done within 4 weeks of purchase. This is to ensure all dresses get finished in time for each prom date.
- We are not responsible for items once they leave the store.
Examples: Broken Zippers, Loose beading or missing beading due to wear and tear of the garment. We will gladly fix it for you for an additional charge.
